Tom had an easier time dealing with the rowdier one fighting than when the calmer ones stirred up. They were usually harder to cool down and seemed to hold a grudge a little longer. "I don't think Viktor is used to people standing up to him."

Tom saw improvement though and noticed, these days, after an initial stand-off Viktor and the others like him were more likely to pack up with each other than continue to fight. That was a relief, usually.
